By removing the traditional external face fabric breathability is maximised while sweat accumulation and weight is reduced. An internal fabric backer aids next-to-skin comfort.
GORE-TEX Paclite®
Paclite® product technology is the ideal solution for hiking, golf, travel and other activities where space and weight are critical. A protective layer on the inside of the GORE-TEX® membrane makes a separate lining unnecessary. The result: minimum weightand pack volume.
PFC-Free
Per- and polyfluorinated chemicals (PFCs) are a family of human-made, fluorine-containing chemicals. They have long been used to add water and stain repellent properties to technical fabrics. PFCs can harm the wearer of the garment and damage nature. Incredibly resistant to breakdown, these pollutants have been found across the globe; they can remain in the environment for many years after release. In response, a growing number of PFC-Free products are being developed, designed to provide reliable water repellency without the use of these harmful chemicals.
