Can I be sure that my jacket is warm enough for my winter hikes?

  • We developed your jacket for wintry conditions: cold, rain and snow. The insulation is made from 150 g/sqm wadding on the body and 100 g/sqm on the arms combined with a fleece.(synthetic insulating component thanks to the air that it stores in its fibres)
  • We added an inside flap under the zip fastening to block incoming cold air. The toggle tightening at the jacket hem is the finishing touch to ensure your jacket is comfortable down to -10°.

How does my jacket protect me from outdoor conditions?

Your jacket is designed with a waterproof outer component that keeps out water and wind. To keep you warm in winter you must also protect your extremities (head, hands, feet). The warm hood, the Velcro fastenings at the cuffs and the high collar prevent the cold from entering. Two warm pockets in extremely soft fleece protect your hands from the cold.

How can I be sure that my jacket is 100% waterproof?

We designed your jacket with a coating on the outer fabric to make it waterproof We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure, expressed in terms of the height of a water column in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A component with a waterproofing resistance of 2,000 mm resists the pressure of 2,000 mm of water (Schmerbers) Validated in a shower test under 60L/sqm/hour of water which is roughly equivalent to a 2 hour rain shower

Water often gets in through the seams. Does my jacket have waterproof seams?

  • Your jacket is waterproof thanks to the fully taped seams. Waterproof tape is added to the seams inside the garment to make them watertight so that water cannot enter through the more vulnerable areas.
  • We validated the waterproofing with a shower test specially designed to replicate the conditions of a two-hour shower. We also wore it in the field in all weather conditions to make sure that it is suited to your activities.

A practical jacket with smart details

  • Lots of spaces to keep all your accessories safe and handy (tissues, keys, phone, etc.) during your hikes.
  • Two lined pockets under a flap with a press stud fastening on the outside and a secure pocket with rip-tab fastening inside.
  • A secure zip pocket also available on the chest.

How to preserve the technical qualities of my jacket?

A fabric's water repellent property is its capacity to make water run off its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products (spray or liquid) for this purpose are available in our stores.

A cold weather jacket comfortable for everyday wear.

  • Jacket designed with sufficient volume inside so that a warm second layer such as fleece or light down can be worn.
  • Its classic cut is ideal for protecting you from the cold and wind during your winter hikes on all types of terrains.

Sizing and fit information

Close-fitting feminine cut. The jacket is designed to be worn with a warm second layer such as a fleece or a light down jacket.

How to dress properly for snow hiking?

  • To dress properly in winter, whatever your activity, we recommend using the 3-layer principle:
  • layer 1: The high-tech base layer transfers moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry.
  • layer 2: The second layer (fleece, sweater) provides warmth and transfers moisture outwards.
  • layer 3: The jacket protects you from the outdoor conditions: rain, snow, wind.
  • The whole outfit must be breathable in order to eliminate moisture.

How does my product warranty work?

This product is guaranteed for 2 years from the date shown on the sales receipt. A product covered by the warranty will be exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear and improper use.
