Battery:
A semi integrated Suntour STL battery is mounted onto the Crossfire E’s frame, weight is balanced against the rear mounted hub motor providing an improved ride quality, over those with rear-mounted batteries. With a large battery capacity of 417Wh / 11.58Ah and a range of up to 60 miles per charge the Crossfire is very capable of going the distance. As standard on all Carrera E-bikes, the Crossfire comes with an integrated smart control system that protects the battery from overheating, short circuiting or overcharging. The battery re-charges in just 6 hours and comes with a full 2-year / 500 charge warranty.
 
Note; The total travel distance will depend on the capacity of the battery, rider and luggage weight, power mode setting and riding style.
 
Motor:
The Carrera Crossfire E is built around a fantastic Suntour Performance 36V rear hub electric motor system, seamlessly integrated into the rear wheel and providing 60NM of torque. The power control in the system is delivered courtesy of an intuitive cadence sensor, which will adjust the power output based on the users pedalling speed. When the users cadence increases then the system will increase the power output.
 
Display:
The electric motor of the Carrera Crossfire E 2021 is controlled via a Suntour TFT multifunctional colour display with separate handle bar remote. The TFT display allows you to choose from one of 4 assistance modes, eco, tour, sport and turbo, depending on the level of support you require. The unit also allows the user to view additional data whilst riding, such as speed, mileage, trip time and battery level. The display is located centrally, directly below the line of vision whilst riding, allowing you to keep your attention on the road ahead.
