The Rake 27 is the successor to Calibre’s award winning Two3, a bike that magazines called a “surprisingly smooth ride with excellent frame shape and handling”. It is a serious hardtail equipped with reliable parts from Shimano and RockShox. If you are just getting into mountain biking then the Rake will get you hooked – it’s fun on the flat, confident on the downhills and easy on the uphills.

The Rake 27 is what Calibre is all about - proper mountain bikes that are accessible for everyone. It is everything you need for getting off road, the complete package. A fun and easy-to-handle hardtail that is a match for any terrain.

It’s built with a solid 6061 Alu frame, refined geometry, and a selection of branded components that you can count on. Its time-perfected geometry uts you in the perfect position for climbing steep hills and then reaping the rewards with flowy descents. 27.5” wheels make the bike more responsive and nimbler than its big-wheeled bredrin, the Rake 29.

The Rake 27 is equipped with a RockShox Judy fork with 100mm of travel, which sucks-up the lumps and bumps of the trail. As the name suggests, the WTB Trail Boss tyres are perfect for carving turns on loose and compacted surfaces. Its Clarks M2 hydraulic brakes give you all the stopping power that you need to stay in control. All-in, the Rake 27 lives up to the Calibre promise of fun riding and outstanding value for money.

Feature Highlights

Calibre hardtail frame – A lightweight alloy frame with balanced geometry for efficient climbs and confident descents

100mm RockShox Judy suspension fork - A capable air sprung trail fork with adjustable rebound damping

Clarks M2 hydraulic disc brakes – Smooth and responsive brakes that represent awesome value

WTB Trail Boss tyres – An all-round trail tyre that excels on loose and rocky surfaces
